Sailfishing
January February and March provides your best chance at a Sailfish here in Islamorada. The beauty and adrenaline rush of landing a Sailfish is just an awesome experience. There is also very much the possibility of wahoo, tuna and kingfish during these months. Plus there is always plenty of life on the Patch Reefs!! And for the Backcountry angler there is plenty going on in the glades if you like Snook, Redfish and Speckled Trout!
Tarpon
April May and June its Tarpon time here in Islamorada and we provide a fantastic day on the water chasing these prehistoric free jumpers. There is not another fishery that we know of that provides the rush of hooking a Tarpon and actually getting it to the boat as statistically the hookup to landing ratio is right around 37 percent. So if your looking for the ultimate fishing challenge this is it!! Book early for these trips as in Islamorada during these months anything that floats is chartered for Tarpon!!
Mahi Mahi/Tuna
July August and September offers plentiful pelagic species offshore especially Mahi Mahi and Tuna. The reefs are now producing many types of table fare especially Grouper and Mutton Snapper. Backcountry fishing is also in high gear because on any given day you can go into the Everglades and catch a wide array of Backcountry species!
